Like so many, Covid-19 changed how I viewed the world and redefined what life, and joy was for me. This piece, both in imagery and emotion, is my reclaim on what joy and life means to me. A debut piece in my expression as an artist, but also the launch into breaking through my fears and choosing to regain control over my circumstances and craft the life that brings me joy each and every day. Bite of Joy is a challenge to reclaim what makes you happy one day at a time.
 
Enjoyed in galleries in the Finger Lakes region of New York, this is a prize winning piece receiving 2nd place in the Dog Catergory and Honorable Mention in the Arts for Animals Online Art Show.
